Naomi James

I am a Theatre Design student currently studying at Nottingham Trent University. 

On my course we design staging for plays and create model boxes of those designs. We also design costumes and learn about lighting, projection and sound. For some parts of the course we get to use the workshop where we can safely use the machines and spray paint booth. Another major aspect of the course is contextual studies where we learn history and culture relating to our subject matter. 

In the future I see myself as a designer wherever I end up. Ideally I want to be a theatre designer or work on the construction of set.
